Okay I gotta keep my blog up-to-date, so today is blogging day! gonna post a lot! :P

Tuesday night, me, Ly, Maksim and Volkan had our appreciation dinner in the restaurant, sponsored by our boss :) I have been planning what to order when I was working in the restaurant, hiak hiak hiak, and this day finally comes!!! :D

We arrived at the restaurant at 7pm. That day was a windy day. We had a reservation outside on the deck, but after that we couldn't stand the coldness, so we moved inside.

Silver Lake Salad with Balsamic dressing, $5

My appetizer, Thunder Mountain Crab Cake, $12. This is heavenly delicious. Crab meat wrapped by fried bacon, with the special sauce made by our chef. yum yum!!!

This is my dinner. New York Strip Steak, $27. Volkan has the same with mine. It's grilled with the sauce that takes 2 days to cook, and serve with asparagus and mash potato. Trust me, you will not forget the taste if you ever try this!

This is Ly's dinner., Grilled Salmon $24, cooked with maple sauce and serve with rosemary lentils.

This is Maksim's dinner, Trout $24. Trout is a kind of fish which is common here. It's stuffed with vegetables and lemon, the taste is heavenly nice when you eat the fish meat, vege and the sauce all together!

Lastly, the dessert mix plate!!!! oh my!!!! the chef treated us too good!!! Cream Brulee, Cream puff stuffed with fruits and sabayon, Chocolate pudding mixed with Jack Daniel, and Summer Berries with sabayon. This dessert mix plate costs $42!!

I was so so full that I couldn't sleep well because the tummy was too big! lol but I indeed had fun and I can't express how appreciate I am to have such nice and fine dinner like this.

OFF DAY!!!!!

So, it's my Monday off again! Sunday after work, I followed Anh and her cousin to Tracy City, the place where they stay, to have a 'run-away-from-the-lodge' vacation! ;) it has been like being imprisoned in the lodge for so long, and we finally have a chance to escape! lol XD

On the way to their home, we go to a shopping mall because they are going to buy some ingredients for the barbeque tonight. Ohh wait... bbq? O.O BBQQQ!!!!!! OMG I'm going to have BBQ tonight!!!!! :D :D :D Muahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!! I feel wanna kiss Anh for bringing me together, and I feel sorry for my fellow friends who are stucked in the lodge LOL :P

Anh's cousin, Minh, is doing the BBQ job. He and his wife are really nice people!

While they are busy preparing food, me and Anh are busy playing with their little pet Phamby! :P

Minh's wife was a super model in Vietnam, and she really is a good cook!! The food is so so so delicioussssss!!!!
After dinner, me and Anh watched a very lame ghost movie, I forgot the name, but it's super boring and not scary at all!

Motor Boat!!!

Me: I have never been sitting on a motor boat...
Max: Are you kidding me???
Me: =.= What's the problem?
Max: Do you want to try it? Let's go now!!!
Me: O.O .......Okayyy!!!!! :D

So, here it is. My first experience sitting on a motor boat!
The sun is hot and I did not wear sun screen, I can forsee my skin color... urgh!!

Viewing the scene from a motor boat is different from a kayak. Motor boat can go way further than kayak, unless your arms are strong enough :P

Owhkay i think i gotta speed up my blog update, now i'm going to blog about something that happened almost one month before, but i insist to dedicate a blog post to every single event here in US :P

So that was the day that something stupid had been done by me, I regreted it, and I felt so so bad. Then Maksim happened to knock on my door, seeing me crying, and dragging me out for biking. I'm so glad that he did, otherwise I would have been spending the whole day thinking this thinking that.

To be really honest, it was my very very first time biking on mountain, it's so so tiring because the roads are up and down. you could go reallyyyyyy fast when it's down hill, and some times i couldn't even cycle when it's up hill, had to push the bike instead. But believe me, it's sooo fun and exciting when the bike went really fast down!! I was so scared but the feeling was sooo good!! haha!! The wind blew on my face and all those unpleasant feelings was washed away :)

We planned to go to the waterfall. But we had no idea the exact location. So Max said: let's keep our bikes aside and hike instead! and I was shocked and said:  we didn't have proper hiking shoes.. then guess what? he said: we take off our shoes and hike with bare feet!!! oh my... I tell you, I had never been so adventurous in my life, ever! but you know what, I actually love that!! :D

This day has totally changed my minds and ways of thinking. Life is always interesting and full with challenges. And the world is so beautiful and wonderful that neither of us should spend time thinking or doing things which are unhealthy to our mind :)

recently

Sorry for being M.I.A. for so long :P
Life is getting busy and tiring.. My job finally has been fixed to front desk receptionist and restaurant server. Front desk job is challenging and stressful, but it's interesting because i get to reach a lot of people and information that broaden my life experience :)

Few weeks back, Craig left the lodge and back to his proper job, Brad and Ximena too, officially retired and left the lodge two weeks ago. I started to miss them so much right after they left. They have been so nice to us, Ximena even left her phone number for us and promised to bring us shopping on our off day :D

The night before Craig left, me, Ly, Craig, Frank, Maksim, Kartene, and Silvia went out for dinner at Kirkwood Inn. The building has a history of about 150 years, the feeling was amazing to have dinner in a historical restaurant, and the food was very nice!

After dinner, Craig and Frank brought us went around Carson pass. The sunset was awesome and the night view was really nice!
